MEET THE PRODUCER
Rebecca Barry
Rebecca is a podcaster, scholar, and former educator who has been active in the world of audio production since 2019. She has lived in Shanghai, Brussels, and Virginia, and currently resides in Connecticut with her husband and their dauntingly growing collection of books. She completed a Master’s in English at the University of Virginia in 2023 and was part of the school’s Webby-winning team on Democracy in Danger podcast.
You can hear Rebecca on Hugos There Podcast #49 in conversation with Seth Heasley about Doomsday Book, Connie Willis’ prescient 1992 novel about time-travel, pandemics, masking, and vaccines. Rebecca is also featured as a co-host in Democracy in Danger’s S6E4, “Resisting Russia’s War,” and the S5 special episode, “UVA, Wounded and Strong.” She is the voice of the credits for S1 of UVA Law’s Legal Knowledge podcast, for which she also served as co-producer and audio engineer.
Rebecca currently works as a Learning Delivery Specialist with the Yale School of Management’s Executive Education team.
